Preparing for your stay at the organic farm Stollhof
As your holiday approaches, you may have some inquiries about your upcoming stay at organic farm Stollhof. Look no further; we've compiled the essential information for your peace of mind. Our family resides on-site, ensuring that we're readily available throughout your stay to address any questions, concerns, or requests you may have.
The Stollhof is located in the old village of Algund, close to the idyllic spa town of Meran. This area is an insider tip for visitors on holiday: spoilt by the sun, in a quiet location and with the best views. Here you can experience the best of both worlds in close proximity. Within walking distance, you'll find the heart of Algund, the scenic Algunder Waalweg, and the picturesque Tappeinerweg. With the chairlift around the corner and then the nostalgic basket lift, you can easily reach the impressive altitude of 1,550 metres and get straight onto the Meraner Höhenweg. For those who crave the energy of the city, the bustling centre of Meran is just minutes away, with a bus stop right next to our farm. And if you want to explore further, the vibrant capital city of Bozen is just 30 kilometres away.
Choose between parking your vehicle in the courtyard directly in front of your flat or utilizing our spacious underground car park. Our facilities include a charging station for e-cars and e-bikes, providing sustainable electricity, along with ample space for bicycles.
Your apartment will be ready for your arrival from 15:30 on the day of check-in. Please ensure that the apartment is vacated by 09:30 on the day of departure. If you plan to arrive after 19:00, please notify us in advance.
Of course you can also buy our farm products directly from us, as holiday souvenirs or for your own enjoyment. Explore our selection of jams, apple juice, syrups, dried fruits, herbal salts, tomato sauces, and an assortment of crisp fruits and vegetables.
Smoking is not permitted in the Stollhof, in the holiday apartments and all indoor areas. Outside, please use the ashtrays provided.
Pets are not allowed in our holiday apartments.
Prices, payment and cancellation
The prices listed are for 2 persons per night (excluding meals). The final cleaning is included in the price. In addition to the listed prices, a local tourist tax will be charged on-site. This tax amounts to €2.10 per day and per person aged 14 and above.
The surcharge for additional persons is as follows:
• for children from 0 to 5 years €15 per night
• for children from 5 to 10 years €25 per night
• for teenagers from 10 to 15 years €30 per night
• for persons aged 15 and above €35 per night
The minimum stay is four nights in the low season, while a minimum stay of one week is required in the high season.
Shorter stays are also possible if there are gaps in bookings. We look forward to receiving your enquiry.
For fixed reservations, we ask for a deposit of 30% of the booked value as a bank transfer within two weeks. The remaining amount is to be paid directly on site.
Our cancellation fees are as follows:
- from 3 months before the planned arrival: 50% of the total booking amount
- from 2 months before the planned arrival: 70% of the total booking amount
- from 14 days before the planned arrival, in the event of no-show, late arrival or early departure: 100% of the total booking price
The deposit is a processing fee and will only be refunded in the event of cancellation if travel insurance has been taken out.
